Pulling pains early pregnancy?

Every so often I get pulling pains almost like period cramps, it only lasts a few seconds then disappears, is this normal?

It could be round ligament pain, which is when the uterus stretches. Pre pregnancy your uterus is the size of your fist and on your last trimester it will be more like a watermelon, so it hurts when it stretches. Talk to your doctor if the pain is too intense or if you are really worried, but how you describe it, it sounds normal to me
