Breech or head down?!?!

Rebecca

Alright so this is my 3rd pregnancy. My first pregnancy were your typical run of the mill pregnancies. Babies were head down and delivered naturally. With this baby, I know he was head down at one point because of an ultrasound done at 30 weeks and I just had a doctors appointment yesterday (I’m 35 weeks now) and doctor didn’t mention baby being breech and heart beat was heard in the same spot as usual (lower half of my belly). I felt normal. It felt like baby was head down. However, later that night I had really bad pains in my leg/groin and in my stomach. I couldn’t really move without the pain getting worse but after about 20-30 minutes it got better. However after that, I was just super uncomfortable the rest of the night. All day today my stomach has been EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Sitting upright is super uncomfortable, the top of my belly is as hard as a rock now. The top of my stomach just feels really hard and tight, where as before it was softer and I could push down into it.

I have another doctors appointment next week, so if things don’t resolve by then, I’ll definitely bring it up. But I just want to know if having a breech baby feels different from a head down baby. I’m just one uncomfortable mama 😭
