Haven’t been on a date in almost 6 months. Finally got asked out, and was looking forward to it. Spent an hour doing my hair and makeup and picking out a cute outfit. As I get ready to leave he canceled THE LAST MINUTE because he said he just wasn’t feeling it, and then asked if I just wanted to come over and chill instead…needless to say I didn’t respond and just blocked his number as I deserve to be treated as a lady and taken on a proper date and not lower my standards. Was my reaction petty? Was his attempt for me to come over and chill considered low effort or cuz he felt bad? He didn’t even bother to reschedule either before blocking him. I hate my time wasted. I was almost married last year (he passed away) and having to start all over again and this is what the dating pool is like concerns me…I know genuine ppl exist but this dude was 32 years old….not what I was expecting at his big boy age. I feel ppl want convenience over connection nowadays.
