First time mom, 9w 6d 🥳💕

Husband makes too much money for gov help but we can’t afford marketplace / employer insurance. We live in FL and so far all choices are looking like $500 a month minimum* for a basic plan. I want to do an at home birth and getting a midwife now to be with my entire pregnancy. Has anyone gone their entire pregnancy without insurance and only stuck with their midwife? My biggest concern would be complications and me needing to go to ER and not having insurance. Just at such a loss. We planned our finances and everything for this baby but I have to admit, insurance skyrocketing prices was not on our minds 😅
