Where do I draw the line?

Okay, so a few months ago I had a sexual encounter with someone I met off Tinder. He was very aggressive and he wouldn't leave. He tried to do anal with me but he just hurt me. Then he picked me up again and continued to have sex with me... I was feeling very uncomfortable and I wanted him to leave. But he wouldn't. I figured that the only way for him to leave was if I "finished him off". I felt horrible about it... Can this constitute as rape? And if it is, what should I do about it?

I think it would be hard to call it rape. It would be his word against yours. You invite him over to have sex. What he did wasn't right, but it would be hard for you to prove that it was rape in court.

If you didn't verbally and/or physically object to continuing having sex and participated willingly just to get it over with then it's not rape, he can't read your mind.

I don't think this situation can be considered rape. You were not forced to do anything and even willingly finished him off. At no point did you say no or make your discomfort known. I've had a few uncomfortable sexual experiences, but I chose to be there and stay so it wasn't done against my will. You can't call it rape just because you regret it or decide you didn't like it. You should have been more vocal.

To other women, regardless of if she was having sex, consent can be revoked at any time. If she tries pushing him off or away from her, if she says no or stop. Consent is revoked. If he is aggressive and poses a risk to her well being than it makes complete sense as to why someone would rather "finish" them than fight them. Everyone has fight or flight instincts, and it's quite obvious that she wouldn't be able to stop him if she chose fight.

It would only be considered rape if you vocalized to him that you did not want to engage in any sexual behavior. If you did not say anything to him, then he would have had no way of knowing whether you wanted to or not.

If you told him no then yes it's rape. But if you acted like you were willing and didn't say no then it's not rape. Please be more vocal and have a voice. If you told him to leave and he didn't you should have called the cops. Please no one attack me I'm not saying it's her fault but we as woman need to teach other woman and our daughters to be vocal and fight. If not men will still see us as easy targets. Also when you are using an app like tinder never meet them at your place or there's meet at a public place to see how they are and if you get a creepy vibe leave.
