Hey ladies. Has any one delivered at a hospital known for teaching? Basically that have the students and all that. I have to deliver at one and is there any type of protocols I can put in place to not have any students asses me or anything while in labor? I understand that’s how they learn but labor is a very vulnerable time for me and k don’t need anyone poking and prodding at me that is still learning. I usually go without epidural and I can handle it I have the past 4 pregnancies but I was not at teaching hospitals and I was left alone until docs needed to do what they needed to do. Instead of students coming in every 10 minutes. I don’t want to be mean I just want this to go smooth. It’s a totally different hospital than I’m used to delivering at and I already hate I had to change due to me being high risk. Now after I have baby and the students want to come in and do wateva it is they need to do I’m all for it. Just not during labor
