When to schedule first appointment

Just found out a couple days ago we having a beautiful baby. When would be the best to call obgyn. Ik they don’t see you until about 8weeks so would you guys wait until it’s a lil closer or call immediately after finding out ?

I’m waiting until 10 weeks because my provider is an hour and a half away. This is also my 3rd pregnancy. If it was my first I would prob do in at 8 weeks. But def call right away!

Call now! They may be booking out pretty far. My office normally does 8 weeks but can't get me in until 11 weeks. I looked at other offices to see if they were doing the same (im not changing i love my obgyn but was curious) and a lot of those could not get me in until 14-15 weeks
