How would you expect your husband to react after you told him you were verbally (sexually) harassed by a male coworker? When I told him, he just seemed very calm. He almost found it a little funny. He wasn’t angry for me or visibly upset. He said I should report it casually. He then went on to say that he may not have known better, because one of HIS coworkers is kinda like that and lacks “social skills”. He tried chalking it up to my coworker just not knowing better. This coworker of mine definitely knew what he was saying, and did it unapologetically. I did handle the situation at work, however I’m still bothered by my husband’s underwhelming reaction to me being sexually harassed.
