My mom wants grandchildren more than anything. I would like kids, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I never had any. I just turned 35 and my mom is saying I'm not in my prime anymore and me and my husband need to get to baby making. My hubby already has a pretty low sex drive so we don't have sex a whole lot but we aren't having sex at all because he had a laparotomy a week ago and just got out of the hospital 3 days ago. I've basically had to carry him to bed because he's been in so much pain. Since I turned 35 my mom has been pushing and pushing. She acted like she was coming over to be some help with my husband. She kept asking how he was feeling but it became clear she was his trying to convince him to get to baby making because she kept saying how a lot of people say sex can be helpful with pain and telling my husband I'm not getting any younger and we don't have time to waste. Plus he was prescribed pain killers etc etc. I had to kick her out. I get my mom really wants grandchildren but all this pushing and pushing is becoming too much.
