Second time elective C section ?

Question

I gave birth in May 2023 as a c section due to failed attempt of inducing natural labor - they tried for three days but the baby didnt engage so we opted for a c section instead
I have no complaints, the surgery ans healing were amazing 
My question is whether in the US i can opt for a c section this time around or they will try for natural labor first? I want a c section this time around too, due May 2025

You can definitely have another C. Truthfully that’s the only way I’ll ever give birth. Tell me what time to show up, I’ll calmly walk to the OR and pretend I’m on an episode of greys anatomy. My second c was a dream. I was sleeping in my belly that night. Healed quick. 10/10 would recommend.

You can BUT a Vbac is much much easier on your body and an easier/faster recovery. 
I had a csection with my first, mind you the recovery wasn’t bad and I wasn’t in too much pain. The Vbac I had with my second was sooooooo much easier. She had to be hospitalized at 2wks old for a few weeks in nicu and if I had a csection it would’ve delayed my healing and make it much harder to get around. 
The risks are still high for serious complications with repeat csection versus a Vbac.
