Bed time

Right odd question think it mostly goes in this lovely group.

My DD is 5 months EBF and to get her to sleep at bed time I lay with her she feeds and falls asleep and I transfer her to her cot.. Well she's getting older and very clever so she will fall asleep and I'm sure she feels the lowering into the cot and is awake unsettled and wants to be in bed with me, don't get me wrong love a sleep with her and night feeding but me and DH would like not to have a little person dot in the middle of our bed. Due to our place we live I don't have the space to be able to rock her in a chair or anything.

So how do you get your little ones to sleep? Have I made a rod for my back? 

Just to add she won't accept a dummy.
