When to announce?!

What’s the typical norm for when you can announce your pregnancy to EVERYONE? Is it 12 weeks, or is it the end of the first trimester? What’s considered safe?

I personally tell the people I would want support from if something bad were to happen, God forbid. We still waited until after our 12 week ultrasound to tell my bf's parents. I think we're going to wait until right before Halloween and do our announcement when I'll be around 16 weeks. Pretty much everyone I care about knows but that's when we'll post on socials. It should be whenever the time feels right for you.

Whatever you feel comfortable with. Your decision can be based however you want. Personally, I’m just going to show up with a baby. I haven’t been treated very nicely in the past and just want to avoid all the extra drama.

Not to be dark, but unfortunately no point of pregnancy is really “safe”. You can miscarry at any point. Do what you feel is best for you. Congratulations 🫶🏻
