Spotting at 5 weeks pregnant

So the past three days I’ve been spotting when I wipe only , I recently had sex and when I saw the bleeding I went to the emergency room yesterday. Is this normal? I’m scared because 5 years ago I had a miscarriage and I’m so scared to have another one after ttc for 5 years .
