My husband is thinking about quitting his job and staying home to focus on college. I recently went back to work after 4 years of not working. I work 60-80 hours a week. We don’t have kids but we have 5 dogs who I hate being home alone. My husband is absolutely miserable at his job. He has some mental health issues from the military. But so do I so he feels bad putting the weight on to me. He is also worried that people will think less of him because he isn’t working. How can I reassure him? Does anyone have experience having a house husband? I set some expectations with him about he needs to focus on school the dogs and daily cleaning I said I would still do the cooking and deep cleaning. I tried to reassure him it would take a lot of weight off of me really since I work, do all the cooking and most of the cleaning currently and I’m also in school full time.
