Am i out?

So im around 9-10dpo and i did an hcg blood test bc i wanted to see what the result would be ,and it came back 1.47 - so negative… 
Ive been feeling bloated, back pain and other symptoms. But it can also be period related. Supposed to get my period around the 20th. 
I believe if the blood test came back that low, im not pregnant and should wait for aunt flow??

That still could be early even for a blood test. Implantation happens between 6dpo and 12dpo and then you need 2 to 3 days for hcg to build up enough for a test. Which means you could have a positive pregnancy test anywhere between 8dpo and 15dpo. Most commonly implantation happens between 8dpo and 10dpo which would mean that most commonly you should have a positive pregnancy test between 10dpo and 12dpo.

I am also due my period on or around the 20th as mine can vary by 3 days. I have not tested but having symptoms but also are they symptoms im imagining? I don't normally get any period symptoms until normally the day of or night before. So hard to tell if im wishing too hard and making it up or actually pregnant but forcing myself to wait til atleast monday to do a test at the earliest but expecting AF anyday but also had a ton of stress this month which could also cause problems and a late period.
