i understand that there are men on here to support their partners, familiarise themselves with their partner’s cycles, learn about pregnancy, etc… and i of course am delighted that this is (or at least hope it is) a safe space for trans men. but what the fuck is up with certain men thinking this is a dating app? being weird under women’s intimate pictures in the “sexting” channels, commenting disgusting things, while simultaneously complaining about their wife’s “foul odour” and accusing HER of cheating.

i miss when this was just a space for people who get periods. it was nice to be able to ask any question and have it be met with a familiar, understanding answer. i know it’s dramatic to say, but that feels tarnished now, uncomfortable even. i just wanted to get that off my chest.

again i really have zero issue with supportive partners and/or people who are going through gender dysmorphia when it comes to their current sex; something that must be so uncomfortable that i cannot even begin to fathom. this isn’t about them.
