Early physeal fusion
My daughter just had an appointment with an endocrinologist and he had her get a hand X-ray before we left the appointment and this was written in the results. I’m just wondering what it means?
There is a coned epiphysis at the small finger
middle phalanx with physeal irregularity. This represents a
developmental variant, possibly with impending early physeal
fusion.
