3 periods in one month

I have always had a heavy flow which got about 10x worse after my 3rd and last child when I had my tubes tied. My periods have been fairly regular but very heavy and the clots sometimes are as big as my palm (sorry for the tmi.) Well I had my normal period from Oct 6-9 but then I started bleeding again October 25 very heavily. I stopped three days ago and then this morning after awful stomach pains, I started bleeding again. Has anyone else ever had this happen? Is this an early sign of menopause? Could it be stress related? Thanks in advance ❤️
