Some advice is appreciated.
I have PCOS(diagnosed at 15). My periods are rare and mostly non-existent. I was on BCP for a majority of my late teens to mid-20 and when I got my periods while on BCP they were the most excruciating thing ever. I would bleed for 2-4 months heavily and the cramps put my life on hold so eventually my Gynecologist and I decided it would be best to stop taking the pills. I have been off BCP for about 10 years now and occasionally I'll have a regular period( maybe 2 or 3 a year). For the last 2 months I've just randomly been spotting nonstop(literally nonstop). Sometimes, the bleeding is so much I think it's a period but then its down to spotting within an hour. I read that medications can sometimes cause this but I actually just stopped taking like 6 other medications that i was on for about 6 years. Aside from, an inhaler I have to take for my severe asthma, I also take a self-injection(once a month) for an auto inflammatory disorder( been taking that for 4years now). So I'm confused on why I'm suddenly on the never ending bleeding spree. There's no cramps or all the associated period symptoms. This is more an annoyance than anything. I have had this happen before several years ago but that was back when I was on alot of medications. Has anyone else experienced something like this before and if so, is it worth going to see my doctor about or should I hold off?
