How far apart are your kids?

What’s a good age gap between kids? I currently have a son that turned 2 years old, my husband and I have agreed and discussed a 5 year age gap, but I’m really wanting another. What are your thoughts?

1.5-2.5 years. I hear a lot that once the one is out of diapers, you are less likely to have another and start all over 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m pregnant with my 8th. My oldest is 13 and my second was 2.5 years later and I wish that gap was smaller. The rest of my kids landed 21-24 months apart from each other.

My 1st and second are 8 years apart second and third are 3 years 10 months and 3rd and 4th will be 3 years 8 months

Honestly it’s dependent on your family. 
My first and second are 2yr 4m apart. And 2nd and third are 16months apart. I love them all close in age. They have a lot of fun together. I just found out I’m pregnant again (brand new today, ha) and my oldest and this one would be exactly 5yrs apart. He’s the best big brother and always has been- he loves kids and babies. But a 5 yr age gap they won’t be as close as the other ones.

Mine are 16.5 months apart and then when I have my third my second and third will be about 27 months apart .

Ours are a little under 4.5 years apart and it was a lot easier than I expected. All of my friends have 2 under 2 or right around 2 years between their kids and phew watching them parent exhausts me. My first is old enough and independent enough to be fairly self sufficient when needed (dressing herself, using the bathroom, getting a snack, entering herself, cleaning her room etc.) and that’s been a huge help. She also is able and enjoys helping with her little sister, but she’s also a big baby doll kid so she loves having a “real baby doll.” I really wanted them closer together, but overall I’m happy with the age gap.

2.5 will be ours. Our baby is due in Jan! It was going to be 5 years but I ended up with ovarian cancer and didn’t want to wait any longer for another in the event it spread to my other (which they thought it did)
