Need Some Advice/Support

On November 12th I go and see my OBGYN yesterday to do a ultrasound. My doctor wanted to see if I had any fibroids because 10 years ago I did once had it and I gotten it remove from surgery. Once I had the surgery I've never once thought it will every come back but once the results are in. My doctor tells me I've fibroids again and this time they're a little big and I need surgery again. They're growing on the outside of my uterus. I was told in order for this to stop coming back. I would've to get a partial hysterectomy done. I broke down in tears because I don't have any kids and I've always wanted some. My ex boyfriend of 7 years walk out of my life because we were trying to have a baby and I just couldn't get pregnant and couldn't understand why and at that time I wasn't seeing my doctor to figure out what was the problem until now. So, he left me for a girl who could have his baby. Til this day I still cry over that pain. Kinda nervous with this surgery coming soon. My question were too you ladies. Have any of you ladies had a partial hysterectomy or knew someone who have? If so, How was it after it was done? Did the fibroids every come back?
