Am I crazy or is this normal??
I lived in the south for 2 years as a little child and developed a southern draw at the time. Moved and now have lived in WA state for 25 years now, and have been told by people that I have a little twang to my voice or some words being drawn out when talking, nothing like exaggerating. Anyways, if I am on the phone or am talking to someone who has a southern dialect, it starts to roll off my tongue and comes out of nowhere and suddenly I’m talking like I’m from Tennessee. Does this have to do with some sort of dialect development/roots from a young age? Or am I just a weirdo? 🥲
