Hi does anyone experienced placental insufficiency before? How was your experience? It was during my routine ultrasound yesterday that I found out about it. I am in a high risk pregnancy, i have hypertension and gdm. Everything was ok, even her growth is in normal range, movements active, heartbeat strong, they just notice lack of blood flow from the placenta. I was brought to ER under monitoring. Yesterday they injected me a steroids to help with her lungs maturity as there might be a chance to deliver early, i hope not as i am only 26 weeks + 3 days, too early. Today, they will send me to feto maternal medicine unit to have a detailed and more pronounce type of ultrasound where they can check the blood flow. I hope everything will turn out to be ok. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
