So I took my 1 year old to the hospital Thursday (well technically Friday as it was like 12:30 in the morning) because he had a bad cough and had a fever the evening before and he came back positive for RSV. He went to his dads Friday (we trade weeks) and his dad had to take him back to the hospital Friday night bc he seemed to have gotten worse and now he's on breathing treatments and steroids for a week.. Well yesterday my 4 year old started coughing and now I'm freaking out! None of my children have ever had RSV! My 1 year old came back from his dads with a runny nose and sneezing last week but the weather has been cold so I thought nothing of it but now that I know it's RSV I'm worried for my other children. My older boys (4 and 8) are known for getting pneumonia when they get sick with just a common cold but now with RSV spreading through my house I'm so worried for them! I've never dealt with this before! Any pointers?
