Early labor ?

Has anyone ever been dilated at 36 weeks and baby stayed in for a little longer ? Last night I threw up from 8pm-12am every 20/30 minutes with pretty strong contractions so I went to L&D. I'm dilated to a 2 & cervix is thinned out ( not sure how much ) . My son's heart rate was a little tachycardia due to dehydration after a few bags of I.V it leveled it and the contractions spread out so I was discharged . Now I'm home and still having off and on painful contractions and my pelvis bone feels like it's shattered my entire body hurts . I had my last baby at 38 weeks so I'm curious to see if this little guy is trying to come early . I've been in extreme nesting mode all week long also . I just feel really vulnerable and odd now .
