Will I ever ovulate?

Cycle day 20 I had cramps and a small amount of egg white cm with a tinge of blood, but “no surges” this cycle so far. Am I doing something wrong? My period was 8 days so I started testing on the 14th, could this have been too late? I’m so confused 😵‍💫
