I adopted this dog thinking he was a white German Shepherd and he isn’t. There’s not one bit of German Shepherd in him. He’s half great Pyrenees and almost half husky with a tiny bit of chow.  I wanted him to be a service dog for my husband who is legally blind. My husband has been hit by a car on his disability scooter and has ran into things parked on the street and has a hard time seeing the edge of the curve in bright sunlight.

But I went into this wrong. It is extremely expensive to send your own dog to service dog training and would cost way more than what we could afford and I’ve also been informed that it’s very hard for seeing-eye dog to work beside a scooter so that was very disappointing.

That being said, he is a wonderful dog and I’m not sorry we adopted him. He is smart and sweet and gentle and not overly hyper.
