So I’m currently pregnant with my first child (sex currently unknown) and my SIL has announced that IF I have a girl, she will sign my daughter up for calisthenics, take her to class every weekend (we live an hour and a half from her) and she will organise all hair, makeup and costumes.

She’s only been married to my brother for a couple of weeks but declared in front of my entire family that my partner and I don’t have a say and my (potential) daughter will be attending calisthenics every week.

And this follows my partners dad interrogating me about who was going to be in the delivery room, and in the waiting room, while I had this baby.

When I responded with [my partners name] I was met with “you can’t just have him there, you need to have family there as well”.

Like, can you all just please f*** off if you’re not going to offer anything helpful?
