please help!! i need advice

my 1 yr old has had a runny nose for 2 weeks i can't get it to go away she is on allergy meds dr gave her is not working. she won't let me suck it out or put spray up her nose for nothing she fights me and idk what else to do! but the runny nose is so bad like idk how to stop it. and snot comes out when she sneezes it's horrible.. the dr said could be viral cold but dang for 2 weeks i looked it up says could be teething to but i hate the runny nose i feel so bad for her
