4 week period???

I started spotting 12/11, it was maroon, brown for 1 week, ever since i have been bleeding.. seems like a full period. This whole time ive had cramps, breast tenderness, nausea,fatigue, headache. Its been.on the lighter side until today. Within 5 hours i bled through a moderate flow pad and a regular tampon. Then again 2 more tampons and leaked within another couple 4.5/5 hours. Even normally i dont bleed this much in a complete cycle and periods are usually 4 days. I Didnt have any clotting until today. The blood is deep red, sometimes pinkish color, sometimes mucousy. I tried getting in with my doctor but their office has gone downhill. Due to weather a lot of places were closed today so i left messages with a couple places and hope to hear back tomorrow... all this to ask, anyone ever experience something similar?? What was the cause?? Period
