Bleeding & cramping 5 weeks. HELP 😕

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone can offer me any words of reassurance please 😔

I previously suffered a chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks followed by a right side ectopic which resulted in rupture and tube removal.

I am now 5 weeks + 1 day pregnant. I found out 1 week ago, then the very next day I started spotting and left sided cramps. I called the Early pregnancy unit but they advised it was too early to scan and have me booked for a scan at 7 weeks. They said to take pain relief at home and wait. The pain was manageable after this but I have continued to have a range of brown and bright red spotting for 5 days now.

I am so anxious having to wait two more weeks to find out the outcome. I keep comparing this pregnancy to both my other two.

When I had the chemical pregnancy, my hpt turned negative pretty quickly afterwards, however this time I am still testing positive. That leads me to believe the bleeding and cramps is due to ectopic.

I have read online that some women do experience bleeding and cramps which turns out to be fine. I also read that left side cramping can be due to ligaments stretching.

Has anyone got a similar story that could offer me any reassure? 😔 This is going to be the hardest two weeks of my life. The test confirms there is a baby growing in there but I have no idea if it’s going to be in the right place or why I am bleeding still 😩
