Birth control

Life has been so crazy lately and yes I am stupid because I forgot to take my birth control for 5-6 days. I started back up 2 days ago once I realized and also set an alarm on my phone to remind me daily. However, I started taking them again on cycle day 13. Today is 15. Should it still stop ovulation? I had sex before I realized I hadn’t taken bc… should I be covered or maybe not?

Thanks ladies. Yes I know to always take them on time but life has been crazy and I just spaced it. That’s why I set an alarm so I never forget again. If I ended up pregnant, it would be ok we’re just wanting to wait awhile to have another. I have to keep my pills put up because my 3 year old would get ahold of them.
