Is it me or my birth control?

Honestly I don’t know what’s what… I was on a pill called ‘mercilon’ which was a combined pill, I was on that pill for 7 years, but it got to a point where my libido was low, for my nurse to change me to this new pill which is called ‘cerelle’ which is the mini pill. At first it was great, but I’m slightly embarrassed to say but me and my partner haven’t had sex in months, at first it was because of stress related stuff, but now (abit tmi) it’s like I’m a virgin all over again, and I feel like I’m going to tear down there. Hasn’t anyone had a similar experience, because I’m thinking of coming off the birth control completely 😕
