Needing help

So I was hanging with the ex-boyfriend of mine. We were just like casual friends well basically just friends last night was the end of it for me. He had been coming over for a couple of days. Everything was fine but last night I guess all hell broke loose. I have a daughter that passed years ago back in 2017 and I was reaching out to her dad for Our decision on her grave flight basically and he thought for some reason that I was All this other stuff he has sent messages through Snapchat and then unfriended me, which I really don’t care about cause he didn’t really mean that much to me anyway, but he started an threats talking about watching the news and all this other stuff and I’m like OK so is he gonna come back? I was just mad because I was talking to him about my daughter’s gravesite. We’re not together so I’m not understanding. Why would he get mad or is it a jealousy thing? I really don’t know what to do in this situation. He has made these threats. I was told to contact law-enforcement, but I don’t know if they’ll do anything major. He’s on probation so I’m not sure what his plans are once he said that, but that’s all he cares about it and I told him it wasn’t gonna be anything sexual between us because we’re not together anymore and I guess he’s taking it the hard way . I just want advice. I don’t want any judgment on what I should do to protect myself in my family
