Growth scan ?

Hey everyone! I had my 20-week ultrasound today, and everything seemed to go well. However, my baby was being a little stubborn and wouldn’t roll over for them to get all the pictures they needed. They didn’t say much but scheduled me for a growth scan in six weeks. Has anyone else had to go back for a growth scan?  and what is for? I'm so worried right now. This is my second pregnancy, and I didn’t experience this with my first..

No need to worry. They just need the correct angle for their pictures so they can tick the box it was checked! I had my 20w scan 3 times because baby wouldn’t play ball…

Yes I had to go back as baby wouldn't play ball and they couldn't see a teeny bit of his spine. Took five minutes the second time around 🤣

Hey hey, I’m 23+3 now, had my 20 week appt a couple weeks ago and was also scheduled to come back for a growth scan in 6 weeks. My dr told me my baby was 11oz which is normal. He’s in the 14th percentile on that scale and they don’t worry unless baby goes to 10% but that’s why I was told to come back in 6 weeks. She mentioned that I need to eat more protein and drink more water then they check baby again then. It could be for you that they just want to recheck a few things since baby didn’t cooperate but just sharing my experience as to why I have to go again. Also feel your worries bc as you stated, this is not something I had to experience with my first. I believe all is well tho, if it was something alarming, they would/should have mentioned it to you.
