What’s your thoughts on LAWRENCE ?

Is it too “old man” sounding? I have a Matthew already and Lawrence was my grandfathers name, it’s just not very “hip” for today’s names dont you think? 
We also like Francesco (Frankie) but I find it hard not to keep going back to Lawrence after my grandfather so I’m stuck 😞

I think names with special meaning are so cool! And plus, there is nothing worse than having 2 or 3 kids in your child’s class with the same name! I like it :)
If it helps, one of my twin daughters being born in a few weeks will have my husbands grandmas first name as her middle name, her name is Edra, she is 90, so the name is very old but she has always been a very important person in our lives and it’s important to us to honor her in that way. She will love it when she finds out

My second’s name is Lawrence, middle name is Daniel he’s 2.5. We love it and get many compliments from people on it. We don’t have nicknames, honestly I can’t stand Larry plus he likes his  name and it’s so cute when he says it.

I think it’s a classic! Larry is the common nickname, but you could also go with Laurie, Lenny, Lars,
or Lance if you want a shorter option.
