My 7 yr old son said this…

The conversation started off with my son asking me why I don’t have grandparents. I told him the truth, people get older and pass away. He was fine w this answer til I told him the same will happen w me. He didn’t like this. He became really angry w me.

“If you die, I die.!” I told him it’s just part of life. He told me to never say that again.

His reaction and response shocked me truly. So I just reassured him that it’ll be a long time from now.

Is this a normal response/reaction from a 7 yr old?
