Hi Christina, last week Monday during a routine ultrasound visit, I was told my babies bladder looked enlarged and so did his kidneys. I'm 18 weeks now. I was seen by a high risk dr immediately that day who verified what the us tech had seen. She told me it could be a few things but reassured me that this was common in boys and that it could clear up on its own with time. Of course she also went over all the negatives and worst case scenarios and I was completely distraught. I have been praying like crazy that this will work itself out. I now get seen every week for ultrasounds of the babies bladder and kidneys to make sure he is peeing even if it's a small amount and to make sure he has enough amniotic fluid around him. They say there is a small tissue blockage that could be causing this. Please keep us posted on your little one. I'll say a prayer for you tonight! 💞
