UPDATE: Slow growth between 6-7weeks….has anyone had this?

L.

I’ve had over 10 previous miscarriages. 5 babies stopped growing in week 6. I’m doing blood thinner injections this time and hoping for the best.

Last week I went for an ultrasound and based on LMP I should have been 7weeks and measured 6w5d with a heartrate measured between 130-135bmp (they measured it twice) and also had a fairly large 5cm subchorionic hematoma that had caused heavy bleeding a few days before the ultrasound

Today I went back to see if this baby made it out of week 6 and surprise!!! There was a heartbeat still! It ranged from 135-141bpm(again it was measured twice) This is my FIRST pregnancy to make it out of week 6.

However, the baby only measured 7w1d when I should have been 7w4d based on last weeks ultrasound. The SCH has shrunk to half its size (yay!) but the baby didn’t grow as much as expected 😞

The ultrasound tech and the midwife both said not to worry. It’s not uncommon to either have measurements off or for growth to be a little off in the beginning. They both seemed to think I shouldn’t worry because the heartbeat was good and increased. Also, the guy who did my ultrasound last week was in training and they said it was possible he measured incorrectly and maybe I was a bit earlier last week that what I measured.

Has anyone had a similar experience and had a heartbeat still but with slightly slower growth in the beginning? Did it end in miscarriage or did the baby catch up?

Any answers welcome even if your experience was a miscarriage. With my history I’m basically always prepared to have a loss so I can handle it

I don’t want to have false hope if I should really prepare for a loss

This was last week

This is today

UPDATE:

I went to an ultrasound place because I couldn’t wait the 2 weeks for my next obgyn ultrasound and baby was now measuring on time with LMP!

I would have been 7w6d based on the scan last week on Wednesday but was at 8w5d!!!! Heartrate of 169bpm!
