MIL issues

My MIL hates me. Me and my husband have been together for 14 years and she hates me for some dumb stuff I did in my 20's that I already apologized a thousand times for. We have 3 kids we all went over for dinner. My kids play rough with our dog at home but our dog doesn't mind. She knows not to bite our kids. They tried to do that with her dog and she told them to stop which is fine. I understand. But my daughter (8) said mom lets us do this at home and my MIL says "Yeah will kids in my house are taught common sense and how to treat animals. Because if my dog bites you because your momma lets you play stupid with animals I won't be putting my dog down." I look at my husband and all he does is says "Mom." She gives a sarcastic "Sorry." She hates me. She will never forgive me and basically undermined my parenting to my kids.
