Husband doesn’t like to kiss in front of kids

Okay ladies, what’s your opinion? My husband and I have twin girls who are 5 years old. We’ve been together 21 years and married for 8 years. My husband doesn’t like to really kiss in front of them because he says he doesn’t want them to think that’s something you just do. He’s afraid they gonna grow up and want to be kissing boys I don’t know it doesn’t make sense to me personally. I understand what he’s trying to say but still I disagree with him because it’s only a tap kiss and nothing else. I feel like we are showing our girls what a loving marriage should feel like. I told him eventually it’s going to condition us to not be affectionate at all with each other. For example while I was leaving I gave him a kiss on the cheeks although the girls weren’t there. He’s trying not to expose that to them but what I feel it’s gonna be bad for our marriage.
