Little miss Olivia

Elizabeth • Mother of two beautiful daughters, had a miscarriage January 2013 and November 2018 and several since than trying for my rainbow baby; rainbow baby born 2024

I had such a smooth complicated pregnancy with my baby girl. I suffered iron deficiency and morning sickness so bad that I would have to sleep off. The normal aches and pains of carrying a baby while working taking two others kids and a full time student were bearable. I was almost 40 weeks I had a membrane sweep at exactly 39 weeks. I was off had no aches or pains that I had all the weeks before leading up to it and than that Wednesday at 39 weeks and 2 days my water just broke at 7am went to the hospital as soon as possible started the process of induction at 11:30am since I wasn’t contracting but my water was just gushing. Everything progressed fine the labor was hard had an epidural early on so I can relax. By 9-10pm I really started to feel my contractions again and I knew it was almost time but I kept pushing off before calling my nurses. I could feel my body naturally trying to push her out. I phoned my nurse they came in and it was time to push she was out by 10:42pm 20 1/2 in long and 8lbs 15.2oz of a beautiful baby. Her at birth her now 7 months later
