6w4d today

I found out 3 weeks ago that I was pregnant. I called to make an appointment and obviously they wait until 8 weeks. So I scheduled an ultrasound and gender testing for 4/7/25 which i will be 7 weeks then (the place i’m going does it as early as 6 weeks) The waiting period to the first ultrasound is brutal.

Has anyone else done this? We will know the gender within 4 days, so we will know what we’re having before our first OB confirmation and ultrasound. I feel a little coo coo doing this, but 1) I found out i was pregnant with my daughter at 8 weeks so i didn’t have to wait to be seen and 2) back then they didn’t do gender testing until 12 weeks.
