I’m currently almost 5 weeks and all my doctor did was make me pee in a cup to tell me I was pregnant, which I already knew. They didn’t do a blood test to check my levels. Is this normal?

My doctors have never even confirmed with a urine test. I would just get scheduled at 8 weeks for an ultrasound and the first prenatal appointment. It's normal and not necessary unless you or your dr are concerned.

Yes, completely normal. Most women do not get hCG levels unless there’s a reason to check them. My doctors have actually never even confirmed the pregnancy with urine, we just waited for an US at 8-12 weeks.

Yea ,unless you specifically ask for you levels to be checked they don’t do it,5 weeks a urine test is literally ALL they can do . They can’t do ultrasounds because your way to early you wouldn’t see anything on it
