Just curious on everyone’s opinions on long distance relationships!

Can work if each person is 1000% on the same page. Communication is key no matter how big/small the topic, issue, uneasiness, excitement etc is. Get into a routine and make plans to look forward to

Very much depends on the situation and how much work you and your partner are willing to put in. You have to truly know yourself and if it’s something you’re willing to go through with. My husband and I have done long distance while we were dating and again after getting engaged for numerous circumstances, but we’re both extremely independent and had a VERY strong foundation long before even considering it. If it’s a new relationship, don’t do it. If it’s a person you’ve gained a very healthy and strong relationship with, then maybe. But it’s something you both will have to discuss at length, set hard boundaries, and have great communication. Plus you have to know that it won’t be easy, even for the strongest of couples. So don’t make a decision to try long distance lightly. You and your partner both have to fully commit, make sure you’re on the same page, and even with all of these things, understand that sometimes long distance just doesn’t work out for some people/couples.
