Pregnant or Hcg from miscarriage?
This ones going to be a long one, I’m sorry…..
Little back story, I am 6 months pp, I gave birth to a healthy babygirl September 30th 2024.
3 months later I fell pregnant again but miscarried at almost 10 weeks.
I began bleeding Feb 8th, and Im currently still bleeding though I’m not sure if it was from that loss, or the period I may have had following it. I found out the following month ( March ), that I had passed the fetus but retained tissue. I was prescribed misoprostol to expel what was left. My hcg dropped significantly but I never went back for labs to make sure that it was at a pre-pregnancy level.
April 1st, I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I took an ovulation test as well, but it was positive. I forgot to throw the pregnancy test away, so it sat where I left it until today.
As I went to toss it I noticed there was an undeniable line, but it obviously appeared after the timeframe so I still assumed that the result was negative since it was negative to begin with. I was planning on testing again because I was having bad mood swings and typically that happens when I’m pregnant or having a period and my period already passed I think. The tests I took yesterday (April 9th), and today (April 10th) were positive right away… so does this mean I am pregnant again, or could my hcg levels be fluctuating so much that my test results are mixed?
Should I wait and test again or just go see a doctor?

Side note: My husband and I do want another baby, but our daughter is only 6 months old so we are not actively trying to conceive.
I’m just looking for answers and some peace of mind.
Edit***
I’m convinced that it’s just hormonal fluctuations🥲
These tests were taken Wednesday April 9th

And these were taken this morning Friday April 11th

The lines haven’t gotten darker. When I am pregnant my hcg doubles every 24 hours, I’ve been pregnant 5 times with one live birth and two semi late miscarriages so I know that my hcg would be higher.
