Any insight??

Question

Had my 8 week ultrasound today, tech said all was well, baby measured at 19mm/8w 3d (by LMP I'm 8w exactly), sac and yolk both looked good, hr was 173. 
Then on the way home I get a call, sac is measuring at 23mm/7w1d and chances of miscarriage are very high. They want another ultrasound next Thursday. Report said it's indicating small sac sign. Anyone had this happen and be ok?

I did a lot of reading about small sac syndrome recently and found loads of positive stories. There’s two studies and the miscarriage rate is very different in both. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of information out there other than those two statistics. My current pregnancy started as twins but one was measuring a few days behind with a very small sac, it took up the whole sac. Unfortunately that little one’s growth slowed and it stopped growing at 8-9 weeks but only measured 7 weeks by that stage, however it’s sac continued to grow and did get bigger so I don’t think the small sac was the actual cause. The reminding twin’s sac is also pretty small looking but they haven’t measured it since 7 weeks, baby is taking up most of the sac though. I have another scan next week but I’ve used a Doppler and the heartbeat is still strong at 11 weeks.
