mini pill - regular “periods”?

hi all!

so i’ve been taking the mini pill for about 3 months, and im still getting a very regular period - like 28 day cycle right on time bleeding.

i’ve mainly taken the pill to stop period cramps / period as i’ve got a back injury and my period cramps always cause a flare up. but rn the pill hasn’t helped at all.

anyone have any recommendations or suggestions to which pill i should try instead? or if this will just take a while for my body to adjust ?

also finding a bit of weight gain and incredibly sore boobs on this pill
