How did you feel when you bought your first home?!!

We just bought our first home and I went so quickly from being excited to a doom feeling. 
Don’t get me wrong I’m SOOOO EXCITED and so crazy proud of ourselves!!! But now I’m like 😐 BILLS 😭😫😳 
Please tell me I’m not alone 🤣😭

I was paying bills from the age of 16. Bought my first house at 28. I’ve been nothing but happy with my purchase since day 1. Bills are pretty normal for most adults, even if home ownership isn’t in the cards.

I felt relief. I wasn’t gonna be funding my landlords lifestyle. My mortgage actually goes towards something tangible that I get something from vs renting which leaves you nothing to show for it.

This is me rn, it seems so scary for THAT much to go to my morgage. It’s why I’m so hesitant on actually putting in an offer. I KNOW I can do it, but the doom feeling is scaring me.

I was actually relieved. The whole process seemed to take forever and I was just excited to get moved in. We really went through our budget though and made sure that it was 100% doable. We even went through worst case scenarios and talked about how to prepare. It definitely made things a lot easier to process and didn't feel as scary when we finally got our house.

We are 5 months in. When we were close to getting the “clear to close” I cried endless nights girl. I think it’s totally normal. I got that oh boy what did we get ourselves into feeling lol but we’ve been doing amazing! Congratulations lady 😊❤️
