Why all the negativity??

This is not a rant about you guys by any means. I'm just so tired of so many articles online and on Facebook.

This morning someone tagged me in an article to the effect of "9 things I wish I knew when I was pregnant the first time".

This lady went on and on to rant and rave about how when you are "pregnant but not a mom yet" you have no idea what you are talking about. You think you are tired - well I'll give you tired.

It just makes me mad- and sad. I'm so excited about our little boy but reading all this seems so discouraging. I KNOW it will be hard. I know I won't be living the same way I did before I was pregnant or had a child. I know. But how come I never see any positive articles about having kids???

A client at work noticed my bump n started telling me all the things I can look forward to,stretch marks,painful childbirth,no sleep,sagging boobs,then told me it gets worse with ur second n third and the older u are etc etc n I had to interrupt her n say actually I'm 34 yrs old, this is my third baby and I love pregnancy childbirth and mothering😊 she didn't know what to say 😄 honestly these bitches love to bring u down,scare u,stress u out it's so unnecessary!

If people were tagging me in things like that or posting them on my page I would delete them. You don't need that kind of negativity!

People keep tagging me in stuff about how much pain labor causes. As if I wasn't already scared out of my wits about pushing another human being out of my body. 😒

I HATE when people with kids act like I don't know what I'm in for , or that pregnancy is gonna get harder the farther along I get. Trust me , I know! Lol

We got gift cards for a movie and dinner date for Christmas "because we won't be going out for a LOOOOOONG time after the baby's born". I was like thanks, but I definitely don't feel like our life will be over. We have a huge support system and I know if we need/want a date we'll have people fighting to babysit. 
I agree. Keep the negativity to yourself. I am thrilled to be a mom, sleepless nights included!

I agree! My facebook feed wasn't this negative 3 years ago and I only follow the "positive" ones. Sad how things are now.

My SIL flat out told us that until we he kids we were not allowed to have an opinion on how to parent. We told her to shut the hell up. Obviously there is stuff we don't know but you can have a rough plan on how you want to raise your kids. We now have a son and we still are going by what we planned out before we had him. People like that piss me off. If people posted stuff like that on my wall I would delete them.

I don't have a Facebook because people are messy and get in other people's business when it's not needed. Pretty soon when my baby you is born I will erase this one too. Cause I see no support on this app what so ever. All it is is bashing each other and bullying.
